Come Visit My Sensual Sydney House
August 30th 2006 23:35
What's this? Bathroom tiles?
...in the sky?
A fan?
WRONG. It's The Opera House. Our house... in the middle of our city.
Sydney Opera House is one of our most prized possessions. It's also our thirty-seventh line of defence since in emergencies, the individual segments work like giant mousetraps for anyone who gets too close. Complete truth!
Sydney Opera House in the morning is gorgeous though, if you go around 8-9am you'll be the only person there. You can hear the distant noises of the city but it's so tranquil and serene around you. It's like submerging yourself under water for a moment.
Not to mention, you get to live out the brashness of Sydney. Tourists say they're disappointed that The Opera House isn't as bright as it looks in pictures. They say how it looks creamy brown, but if we're talking about things which are brown, at least it doesn't have any of the stagnancy of the YARRA RIVER. They should cover that thing with a tarp or something.
The Opera House is also very sensual. It has its curves in all the right places..
Here it looks like Madonna's bra from the 80s... or cat ears!
This here is just an orgy of angles and obscuring.
And here it is ominously plotting the destruction of Sydney.
I recommend you go there if you feel like you need to clear your head from the debris and smearings of your dirty city life. You can sit on the steps and think of all the past celebrities who have walked there previously... like Casey Donovan!
Have you ever actually seen a play at the Opera House? How often to you visit our house? Add a comment...

It used to be my favourite place when I was a kid. Mostly because of the 'slide'.

Seriously can see the House plotting the destruction of Sydney. Also sounds like a really bad comic book villain

The last time I went was around Christmas last year.
