Easy Channel 7 Celebs
September 6th 2006 16:34
Hey there, why so blue? So you don't see celebrities walking through your lawn often? Cate Blanchett doesn't stop by your house in Oatley often? Sandra Sully doesn't come in to the laundrette to ask if she could share your dryer? Tim Brunero's hair is a freakin mess?
Well that can all be cured! (Except for Tim's ratty). Australia has a surplus of B-rate celebrities. We have so many that they have several of their own reality shows like Celebrity Survivor, Dancing With The Stars, Celebrities on Ice etc. In fact it seems like the "real people" reality shows are a minority.
So, if you're not seeing any celebrities, pseudo-celebrities or even prim-looking pigeons, all you need to do is stop by Martin Place. If you walk up to Elizabeth Street you'll see the Channel 7 studio on full display.
Go, up to the window just outside and you'll see the Channel 7 news desk in clear view.
Who's that there...? Chris Bath? Kochie? You could cut the suspense with a spoon.
Why it's Ian Ross. At the channel 7 studio, you can see all the hilarious actions these people do after they've cut to commercial. Shortly before this photo was taken, Ian Ross had removed his massive steel rod and did a pole dance around it. For proof, note the man behind him vomiting in disgust behind the 7 News sign.
In reality, all they do is stare at the little computer in front of them but we can dream.
It's also fun to employ a massive flash with your camera in hope of being glared at by a Channel 7 person(ality).
