Australian Idol: Top 6 - Marcia Shines Again

You guys, due to it being Week 13 at uni (a.k.a. Hell week) I missed tonight's show! All I got was this Marcia quote someone sent me

"Jess, jazz is jazz and I think you just sang jazz tonight"

So someone tell me, how was tonight's show? Who was awesome? Who was crap? Who's going home?

i thought marcia was talking about me when she said that ha.

the show was weird with its modern songs in a big band style.

irishman was great, jess was great, surprisingly the dark-haired-blue-collar-metrosexual-guy-who-really-wants to-win-this-but-probably-won't was great too. the rest were meh, especially the karate/model guy.

lisa mumbled throughout her song. she'll be out tonight. fo shizzle.

Ricky was the best. He's ever so amusing and he didn't completely butcher "I Saw Her Standing There".

Lisa and Damien sucked ginormous, floppy, donkey balls. Though out of the two Lisa was worse, so she should leave tonight.

Everybody else was mediorce.

I thought Jess was a bit of a shocker. I don't entirely blame her- she sounded bad over an awkward arrangement. I kept wishing it was still a dance song. Still, Jess was all warbly and out of tune.

I liked Ricky and Damien.

Dean was a letdown- boring. Chris's song sounded wrong.

Lisa needs to decide on an accent- or at least stop exaggerating it.

yeah ricky was surprisingly alrite last night, he didnt do his usual ridiculous vocal gymnastics and he only did the scary "eye bulge angry face" once or twice throughout the song. as for lisa i think she was just horrendous. i just shuddered every time she sang that chorus... she was supposed to say "i am" (from that veronicas song, revolution) but it ended up coming out something like "yyyiiiaaaaaaaarrrmmm" -holden, in his infinite wisdom of course praised her genius and thought she was great. i and many others on the other hand think its curtains for lisa

I like Ricky's crazy face. It's like he's a possessed zombie for half a sec.

Lisa needs to join a band. Possibly Josie and the Pussycats.

I very much want Chris to go. Very much so. Ta.

Dean needs to sing a weepy ballad or something. Just to show some meaning for once.

Jess needs to sing a heartwrenching ballad too. Just to show that she can NOT smile, for some variety.

Also, she and Dean need to show us that they have other thoughts going on in their minds besides, "OMG I'm on TV!" and smiling/simpering.
